A good result starts before the first plank. We check the room and the selected product’s instructions, then list needed prep in your written estimate.
An attached pad does not fix an uneven subfloor or an active moisture problem. We select any moisture barrier or patch for the actual site and product.
Floating click-lock planks connect to one another above a prepared base; they are common in residential rooms. Glue-down planks bond to an approved substrate with the specified adhesive and can suit rolling loads or low transitions. Both need a sound, smooth base. Room use, moisture, and the exact plank determine the method.
We condition the flooring and jobsite as the chosen product requires. A fixed 48-hour acclimation rule does not apply to every LVP line. For glue-down, the adhesive instructions also determine when heavy furniture may return.
If emissions matter to your household, ask for the exact plank’s current certification and, where used, the adhesive’s documentation. FloorScore confirms a product meets specified VOC-emissions criteria. It does not by itself certify phthalate-free composition or zero emissions.
