The 5/8-inch-thick, 7½-inch-wide planks come in random lengths between 23 and 75 inches, so long boards dominate and the floor reads as one continuous surface. A subtle hand-scrape with wire-brushed grain gives the wood a softly weathered texture, sealed under a UV urethane finish with aluminum oxide that resists everyday scratches. Nicola fits open living areas, dining rooms and entryways that need both character and durability. OC Flooring brings Nicola samples to homeowners in Kirkland, Redmond, Everett and the rest of King and Snohomish County and installs the floor after a free in-home estimate.
